One of the last Lebel rifles to be produced
Very rarely encountered in the UK
Probably the rarest WW1 issue rifle
in shootable condition
8mm Lebel Model 1886/M93, Circa 1915. Manufactured at the Tulle state factory in 1915 making this one of the last Lebel rifles to be produced before production ceased in 1916. Very rarely encountered in the UK with those that are seen being in mostly relic condition this example is in fair overall order throughout and has matching numbers to the barrel, bolt, action, stock and forend (feint). The barrel is also fair (actually the best Lebel barrel I have encountered) with very strong rifling although with some corrosion. Plenty of small armourers repairs to the stock and forend however they are original to the rifle and all add t its history. A very rare opportunity to acquire what is probably the rarest WW1 issue rifle in shootable condition.
