Transit Chests and Scope Tins
No15Mk1 Transit Chest for No4Mk1T Sniper – SOLD
Original No15Mk1 Transit Chest for a No4Mk1T Sniper Rifle, Circa 1944. A simply gorgeous original example, 1944 dated, broad arrow acceptance marked and maker coded with original paint, stencilling and labels. In very sound condition with a few loose joints through age and drying though nothing structurally in need of attention, most unusual to find a 1944 dated chest and one that has not been repainted. Marked for a T-less T originally and with provision for scout regiment spotting scope to be trapped by the forward partition. £SOLD

Reproduction No15Mk1 Transit Chest for No4T – SOLD
A superb reproduction No15Mk1 transit chest made by the highly talented Dave Manning. Without a doubt the very best reproduction No4T transit chests that have been produced to date and I cannot see a way in which they could be improved upon, Dave put a huge amount of effort and skill into producing a couple of small batches of these transit chests and he went to great lengths to get them as correct in everyway as he could – they were a labour of love and not something he will be repeating anytime soon! £SOLD

IWS Kit – SOLD
Very, very, fine and rare Individual WeaponSight (IWS) in full working order having recently had a replacement tube, with one of the clearest images I have seen on an IWS. Correct front and rear covers with the rear eyepiece shutter working as it should and contained within its carry case with correct holdall, lens tissues, lens cleaning brush, one good battery, two dead batteries and a full compliment of mounting brackets for L1A1, GPMG, AR15 and Carl Gustav (the mount for the L42A1 is generally kept as part of the L42’s own CES). A wonderful compliment to any fine and otherwise complete L42 setup or of course an L1A1, I don’t see many of these and rarely as complete as this example. £SOLD

Very fine REL Canadian production No32MK1 telescope, 1944 dated, with lovely clear optics, perfect lenses, positive clicks and the majority of its original finish. Part of batch of around 20 REL telescopes that ended up numbered with the same serial number and then having an extra digit added to the end of the serial number to differentiate them, a lovely scope. £SOLD

Winchester A5 WW1 Sniper Scope WD Marked – SOLD
Gorgeous Winchester A5 WW1 Sniper Telescope. Correct telescope for a Winchester-Whitehead conversion in incredibly clean and original condition with original blueing to the tube and fittings and original red paint in the focus ring graduations (grubby but still there!). Roll-off rings in great condition with original thumb wheels (often missing or replaced and a real sod to make…) and with perfect lenses, correct fine crosshair reticule and great optics. Tube has clear original broad arrow engraved and feint “1915” marked in the finish of the tube, I believe this to be one of the very earliest telescopes mounted by Whitehead brothers in late 1915 as the rings do not have the more common inspectors marks stamped into them and I have seen very few with the classic broad-arrow engraved on the tube. For anyone looking to do (or have done) a Winchester-Whitehead WW1 sniper conversion done it is worth grabbing the scopes whenever you can and this being a WD marked example will add extra kudos to the build…. £SOLD
