.22 Winchester Model 52C, Circa 1961. Built in the last year of production of the iconic Winchester Model 52C, this example is in fantastic condition, with original length butt and original butt plate with hook (normally chopped down and with BSA or Anschutz plates cobbled on) and original Redfield Mk8 target rearsight and Redfield frontsight with a good selection of modern elements. Original single loading platform and extra 5 round magazine fitted along with correct barrel blocks for a period targetscope, bipod and nicely made hardwood carry box. The Model 52C was the last top quality target rifle made by Winchester, revered by those that have used them – the micro-movement triggers set the benchmark for target rifle triggers when they were introduced and the Model 52C’s were more than double the price of a BSA International at the time making them an exotic rarity over here in their day, something that the passage of time has done little to improve. Bore is mint, mechanics are perfect and this example retains nearly all of its original finish – perfect for the many historic .22 competitions and coupled with an appropriate targetscope from the same period it would make one of the finest long range .22’s around. £SOLD

.30-06 Rigby Highland Stalker – SOLD
.30-06 J Rigby & Co. “Highland Stalker”, Circa 2017. Absolutely beautiful modern Rigby in a very useable calibre – bore appearing and gauging as new. Stunning wood (pictures in no way do it justice) with long LOP of 14 ¾” of typical Classic Rigby style. Single stage trigger, 3 position safety, gold inlayed guard and floor plate, 30mm AEW swing off rings and mounts, shrouded forsight and factory threaded muzzle with blind muzzle protector. Rigby Classic thong sling and bolt holster included. Very rarely seen on the S/H market and, as I understand it, a long wait for a new order – this rifle would be over twice the asking price new so represents excellent value indeed. £SOLD

.30-06 Heym Double Rifle – SOLD
.30-06 Heym Double Ejector Rifle, Circa 1988. Built new in 1988 and regulated for Remington 150gr ammunition (recent re-regulation, see below), with the options of Grade 5 wood, switchable ejectors (may be switched off), cocking indicators, set forward trigger, Suhler claw mounts. When supplied by Heym it was fitted with a Zeiss 4 power telescope however this has been updated with a Swarovski 1.5-6 illuminated telescope. A truly lovely rifle, typical Heym quality, mint bores gauging and looking as new, tight action with lovely understated scrollwork engraving, very well figured Grade 5 stock with 14 1/2″ lop, sharp chequering, the comb is a little high for using the open sights but is perfect for using the telescope (normally the other way around). The last owner had this rifle re-regulated by Keith Dennison Thomas for 170gr Geko at 100yds. A superb quality double in a very usable calibre. £SOLD
